Blue Banana is the space where I bring together different kinds of work that are rooted in the same values: intention, clarity, connection, and change.

Some of that work lives in books. Some of it takes shape through sustainability-focused projects and ideas. While these areas may seem separate at first glance, they are connected by the same way of thinking. I’m interested in work that lasts, carries meaning, and is shaped by thoughtful choices. Whether that takes the form of a novel or a sustainability-focused project, the goal is the same: to create something grounded and worth connecting to.

My path into this work wasn’t linear. I originally studied chemistry with the intention of working in environmental protection, but my career led me into business and marketing. Later, after becoming a mother and moving to the United States, I found my way back to what had always mattered to me.

Today, that background shapes how I approach both sustainability and storytelling. I’m not interested in perfection or theory alone, but in what works in real life—what people can actually apply and build over time.

Most of what I create doesn’t start with a clear plan. It starts with small ideas that keep showing up—sometimes unexpectedly—and don’t leave until I follow them. That way of working shapes everything I do today.

My fiction is published under two pen names. As T.J. Arengill, I write contemporary romance. As T.J. Whitewall, I write fantasy. I keep those names separate because they speak to different readers and kinds of stories, while still reflecting the same underlying approach to storytelling: character-driven, emotionally grounded, and shaped by change, tension, and the moments that leave a mark.

Blue Banana exists to bring these different strands of work together in one place. Rather than dividing them into completely separate identities, I wanted a space that reflects the full range of what I care about and create.

At the center of it all is the same goal: to create work that feels thoughtful, intentional, and worth spending time with.
